Puerto Rico Continued...

Alot of these images were taken on an island off the coast of Puerto Rico called Culebra Island. For those that don't know, culebra is spanish for the one creature that I can't stand! SNAKE!! Yeah, we decided to go spend a couple days camping on the beach and roughin it on an island, which by the way, lives up to its name. We saw plenty of them. There is also a night shot taken from a view of St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands. Long story short, we didn't know when you make a contract through travel sights that if you get off the plane before the final flight is made, you void the rest of the flights, paid for or not. We wanted to get to Puerto Rico and there was a flight that stopped in Puerto Rico but continued to St. Thomas, so we thought we'll just get off one stop early. Nope, didn't happen. We had to complete the whole chain of flights to keep our contract and keep the rest of our flights. So we got to see St. Thomas for the night. Not too bad, totally unexpected though. Taken in 2007 here are some images of the beautiful Caribbean islands.







































Right after I took this shot, Heath almost stepped on a snake in the bushes!! I've never seen him jump so high! His head seriously almost hit the branches above him!
